When you place an order we will estimate delivery dates based upon the availability of your item(s), shipping method selected and your shipment’s destination. Our shipping charges are determined by the total dollar amount of your order, excluding applicable sales tax. Some products cannot be shipped to international destinations so please submit a message to us from the Contact Us page if you would like to discuss international ordering options. In the event that we are not able to fulfill your order due to shipping, inventory or other reasons, then we will contact you prior to processing your order to discuss the best options with you.

Things You Should Know if Shipping LTL or Full Truck Load Shipments

For orders that are less than 150 pounds, we use UPS or Fed Ex. For pallets shipments (LTL Shipments) or full truck loads, we use a variety of reputable and proven carriers to provide you with the lowest available shipping cost. Our carriers usually contact you a day prior to the delivery to arrange a convenient delivery time window.  If you do not receive a call from the local terminal, please let us know and we will track your order for you. Castle Distributors ensures and guarantees delivery of the material in good condition. Damaged or missing material will be replaced by Castle Distributors, or a pro rata credit issued. Customers are required to inspect and sign for the goods at the time of delivery. In the event of damaged or missing product, it is important to make clear notes on the Bill of Lading using the following procedure.
 
When you receive your shipment, if there appears to be damage to the goods, then write “DAMAGED, SUBJECT TO FURTHER INSPECTION” on the delivery receipt provided by the driver at the time of delivery. This is extremely important. Please make certain to keep a copy of the delivery receipt, as we will need this documentation in order to file a claim.  Inspect the product and notify us within 3 business days with extent of the damage to your shipment. Do not remove the damaged goods from your site, as an insurance adjuster may need to inspect them, as well as the packaging. We realize that it may be difficult to inspect all of the shipment at the point of delivery due to the crating. Please take the time to inspect your shipment within 3 business days of delivery and notify us of any concealed damage that was not seen at the time of delivery. Claims for concealed damage that are made after the 3rd business day from delivery will not be valid.
