Radiant Heat for Tile & Stone - 240 Volt System

This easy to install electric floor heating system is for 240 Volt electrical systems, and ships in mats that are 16" wide by varying lengths - up to 120 Sq. Feet per mat. The product is sold by the square foot and is easily configured to fit your space.  You can connect several mats to a single thermostat, but only up to 320 Sq. Feet on a single thermostat for the 240 Volt System. For larger areas, additional thermostats will be required.

 

This product is sold by the square foot. This easy to install electric floor heating system is for 240 Volt electrical systems, and ships in mats that are 16" wide by varying lengths, depending on your requirements. The product is sold by the square foot and is easily configured to fit your space.  Simply cut the mesh backing (NOT THE BLACK WIRE) and you can space it out as you need. The black wire is pre-spaced on the mesh backing which is also self adhesive for your convenience. Simply roll out the mat, press it down to stick it to the subfloor surface, and install your ceramic, porcelain or stone tile on top using appropriate mortar and/or thinset. Begin the installation of each roll so the gray wire (cold lead) is near the location of the respective thermostat. Note: Order approximately 10% LESS than the EXACT number of square feet to be covered.

 

By heating the floor itself instead of the surrounding air, the system provides indirect heat that radiates from the floor up and is absorbed by surrounding objects, warming the entire room.
